    I looked at this and saw a cartoon background, and with a bit of play a character too, although as you can see cartoons aren't my strong suit!

    Mine either Frances. I think people that can do that well and we have several on these forums (such as zeb, and many others.) are very special.

    Frances - good cartooning needs real-time hand to eye to line co-ordination - put simply that means if you are not looking at both the line and the drawing point at the same time its difficult to make a design that is not stiff or awkward - can be done but takes a lot of practice - thats one reason why many cartoonists still pencil their designs and scan them in, unless like Zeb they have one of them oh-so-expensive cintiq tablets I guess....

    ok working on my design - good ones Guy and Rik - Ants not my colour either, the ears on the other hand......
