    Default Transparency/Gradient

Using web designer mx premium, is there any way of making a rectangle transparency using 3 colours 'ala Paintshop as in the example I have uploaded?

    Many thanks

combination of two tools in designer pro - fill tool for the colors and transparency tool - use linear and double click on the line where you want to add handles in both cases

so given the tools, same in web designer

    an example

note - you can define a color for each handle in the fill tool, and a seperate level of transparency for each handle in the transparency tool

you can of course build up a colour ramp

say you had a red rectangle and gave it a transparency - then cloned it and changed the colour and gave that a transparency and then repeated it

    see attached

[also by default you can apply additional transparency to a group as a whole]

Yes, the colour ramp idea look good. I assume I've done that correctly?, basically 3 rectangles of differing colours and transparency overlayed - looks pretty cool

yes thats the idea - then you can group and apply a final global transparency if you wish
