    Default docking area

Every time I open up Pro X I have to reduce the docking width size is there anything that I can do to retain the settings?

As it is they take up nearly 30% of viewing space and do not leave room for access to other windows.

Also when reducing the width of the window they do not reduce at all to one is left with no working area just the docking window.

I can see that being annoying - I usually have my galleries floating - that way the size is remembered for the container

I must admit that not tried that:-((
So having done so now have a number of windows opened up over screen and they get in the way and have to be moved to access other directories as well as the main window.
Will explore a bit more early days or hours in my case.
    Thanks,
    Peter

If you have a dual screen set-up you can drag them across to the 2nd monitor and get your main screen back to full size.
Monitors have dropped in price a lot and most graphics cards that have two output connectors can be configured to drive two monitors.
