Linking photo widgets

Hi Steve,
I know this is really off topic, but it is a question about Web Designer MX. I understand that it has resizable widgets in the new Web Designer. I'm curious whether you know if the images in those widgets can be linked. If you recall the third-party widgets in WD7 Premium can only be linked in the text area - not the image.
