Hello Kate--I think despite my previous grumblings about slow addition of vector tools and or enhancements, I am pretty pleased with what y'all have done with this update.

I'll be counting my pennies and upgrade as soon as possible. A thank you to yourself, Charles and company.

I unlocked the trial, but as far as I can tell there is no PDF manual included.
Is there an online link to it somewhere?
I really don't want to wait until the cds start shipping before having access to the new manual. (eta is second half of June - according to the Xara website)

Yes, but Im really disappointed that after waiting this long for this feature I still have to use Serif Draw X5 for doing true vector painting as it looks as if this does not allow painting with pen pressure which is really what you need for vector painting. Argghhh!! However it's something I guess and there are some other cool features here so I'll prob upgrade but miss the days when features came out that were better than what the competition has.


***Well after downloading the demo I see that pressure capability has been indeed included with this feature which is not shown in the example video or the "whats new" page for Pro X 8 so nice job Xara. So just ignore that previous rant.

Features worth the upgrade price for me:
» Colour select/erase tool.
» Link handling on iOS devices
» Alt text on images
» Resizable Color Editor

Everything else is a bonus.

looks like the paste problem when using 'make all layers editable' button has been sorted
