best way to choose a video that plays

I have 2 thumbnail images side by side and a large youtube video under them
I need a video to play associated with the coresponding thumbnail.

do i overlay both videos and make them transparent until one is chosen then the right video plays
or is thier a layer issue i can use to make the correct thumbnail play the right video?

currently i made 4 pages when i choose the thumbnail it takes you to the page with the
video but i know thats not the right way, but it was the only way to solve my inital problem of getting my
example across. load time is horrible i just dont know enough yet on the correct procedure.
