    Default Triangles with outline

Hi for everyone, could you please have a short look on the attached picture and xara document, just simply three triangles with green outlines.

My target would be to remove those green outlines which are around the whole object, and keep those green ones which are inside. Switching of the outlines of course has effects on both category, do you have idea maybe how to handle them separately?

Basically the question is more complex on my live examples, having lot of objects and their outlines, and suddenly the outside outlines are not needed and I am not sure how to remove.

Thanks the advice, do you mean that selecting all three triangles and set the line as None?

Because with this for me they disappears so becomes no line between the triangles.

    That's exactly what I mean.
Remove all lines completely then nudge the left triangle left and right triangle right to open up a gap and place a green rectangle behind the group.

So instead of triangle with outlines, your get triangles without lines and still get the effect you are after

Ah thanks I understand But if the situation is more problematic for example in the attached one?

So if the between lines are not straight and with nudge their dimensions can not be reproduced.

A couple of thoughts. If using sledger's method you could shrink the individual shapes slightly with contour tool (inset path). Alternatively, leave the lines on the shapes and clip the overall shape. To produce the clipping mask, select all shapes and add (Ctrl1). Use contour tool on this if necessary. A lot depends on why you are doing this.

    Too easy.
Make two copies, convert lines to shapes on one copy
Remove lines then weld shapes (Add shapes : Ctrl+1)
Copy new solid triangle and recolour to green
Use converted lines to subtract from solid blue triangle
Set green triangle behind the blue and adjust to snap to edges.
    Done

Or, klone (Ctrl-K) each shape. Break the top shape at both points where it touches the outside edge. Fill of top shape will automatically disappear and expose the one below. Now change the undesired outline to the colour of the fill. You may still require to clip as the loose ends won't line up exactly with the overall shape.
