Don't forget the simple tools

I have seen some icredible graphics here at talk graphics some very complicated, and that only look complicated . but the majority of them require a bit of time to create ,
I would just like to remind every one not to forget the simple tools in xara x , namely
the quick shape tool , by far the easiest tool to use
but it can create some incredible results, I know all probaly use it in all your graphics and it is a very valuble, helper much of what we create would become much difficult, except for the quike shape tool ,

but ive notice this tool is taken forgranted
so to speak
as a stand alone tool it can create some impressive graghics Ive included a graphic
as an example , I have discovered
that this tools only limitation is the user;s
imagination

it took me all of about 5 min. to create this

That's a fun image it looks like a mask.

You are right the quick shape feature is a good tool.

We did have a thread on quick shapes a long time ago.Here

Actually this is the quick shape star tool, set
fifty 50 points all i did was
make the quick star and drag into the middle so all the points were long , at about three quarter the out toward the points I grab a line on the side of a point and began going around and around gradualy spiraling down into the center of the star then i
duplicate flip turned over flip x2 made the second eye oposite of the first
