Hi Kate and welcome to TalkGraphics

A lot depends on the content of the site. If there are a lot of photos involved this can be tricky.

I recommend that if you have a lot of photos that you frequently optimize all JPEGs. This reduces the resolution for all images to 96dpi and frees up a lot of memory.

Have a look at this article http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/wo...kbook%201.html for another method of working with large websites.

Also - if you have many rendered images (3D and/or bevels) you may run into memory problems with a site that large. You can either split the site into two or export the rendered images as jpeg or png and then re-import them into your site.

If you split the site into two, you can link the pages using the htm file names. Please be aware that you will need two different /index_html_files folders and two different index.xhl files. The best method, obviously, is to optimize all of your images. Splitting the site into two can get tricky.
