    Default Holiday brushes

I had no idea when this area began that folks would be this generous.

It's great, even though some of the contributions aren't strictly "clip art".

    So, who cares...and here goes:

I created these brushes for Xara as a gift accompanying The Official Guide a couple years ago. If you already have 'em, consider yourself a gifted person. If not, all you do is download and open the XAR file, and then copy any path of ornaments you want to use to a new document. Last I knew, custom brushes are document-specific, so just move the string out of the way, or shrink it on a margin, and then with the Freehand and Brush tool, choose the ornament series from the brushes drop-down, make a test stroke to glean the size of the brush, adjust if necessary, and ho, ho, ho, away you go.

Fool Disclosure: The document is about 5MB because many of the ornaments are bitmaps, specifically high-res guys so you can print with fidelity.

    My Best,

I didn't have a clue what theme to do for our Christmas tree, this year, and it seems that you've solved that for us now.
Many thanks for sharing this quality gift.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
