Bill, I worked on a truncated version that would still be aligned with the elements in other characters.

Obeying the Too Many Cooks Law, I'm posting the character and not reworking the font itself.

Gare it looks like you pulled back the overhang on the L a little and that helps. Or maybe the G and L being side beside makes it look better, I don't know. Whatever the reason thank you. Could be the overhang on that L will always bother me. Ah well.

Ok I have removed all versions of the fonts prior to the last one Bill posted. Thank you Bill and Gary for doing your best to keep the number of unique versions down. I'm going to have a look at the fonts and play(err..test )

So when we have tested and everyone agrees the fonts are ready, we will need changelog files for each one. Do we need a pdf guide for each one? might be an idea as unless I am mistaken we decided to release them separately as well as together as a family pak.

    On first look:

The fancy "And" symbol is missing, "The", "No", "at", and ".com" are all there.
Something about the cap I bugs me it just doesn't look quite right to me (Maybe it's just me though)

It is looking really good! I am playing with an idea for another video tut for this font

My bad I was looking it over using the Windows Character Map and didn't scroll down far enough!

This is an updated version of the files. Some of the Alternate characters were not present in the last set.

I have another question are we going to allow the Roundhead fonts to be embedded in a website via @fontface? I believe that this is something that has to be set in the font creation software (Font Lab) is it not?

The fonts are set to be fully editable (embeddable). This should be sufficient for @fontface. I'm not aware of any specific settings for @fontface within FontLab.

Using the Opentype from post 227

In MS Charmap RoundHead TG and RoundHead Outline TG (both OTF) show in Charmap but RoundHead TG Heavy does not.
In Character Map Pro RoundHeadTGHeavy and RoundHeadOutlineTG show but not RoundHead TG.
All three show up in Xara with RoundHead TG a two family group and RoundHead Outline TG as a single font.

In the all versions the following look too thin and in some cases don’t have the slanted endcaps that other punctuation like the square brackets have. Maybe they weren’t done?
    # hash mark
    % Percent
    ^ Caret
    _ underscore
    paragraph marker Alt+0182
    The degree Alt+0176
The Ampersand and the Alternate ampersand at Alt+0175, IMO need to be a bit heavier.
The greater than and less than characters and the forward and backslashes also look a bit thin to me.

Also the diacritic marks seem lightweight.
    Alt+0096
    Alt+0094
    Alt+0180
    Alt+0136
    Alt+0176
    Alt+0168
