I originally offered this font to our community two years ago as an attachment to the yearly Christmas Card roundup. But seeing as we have a thread dedicated to free member-created typefaces, I thought I'd post again here.



I originally created this typeface to give dtp folks something to use at the end of a chapter or the last chapter in a book, intead of the famous "3 plums". But many of the characters animate fairly interestingly, so use the Truetype version in the zip file with Xara 3D. Much of the original artwork is Public Domain and Dover Books even offers it as clipart, while other gylphs are originals.



The font is Charityware, explained in the text file in the zip file. Commercially or privately, if you use it, think about tossing a couple of bucks the way of a non-political worthwhile cause such as Doctors Without Borders, and The Red Cross.
