The incredible shrinking trial period

I downloaded the new MX version of Web Designer yesterday, excited to give it a whirl.
Upon starting the program I was presented a welcome screen which said that I could try out the program for 4 days, or extend the trial to 30 days by registering.
I opted to simply continue on instead of immediately extending the trial.
I started the program again in the same day and it said that I now only had 1 day remaining unless I registered for the 30 day extended trial.
Today I was presented with the option of buying the program, or extending for 30 days. So I registered.
Upon inputting the 30 day unlock code the program unlocked, and said that I have only 20 days left in the trial period !

Now I am a good customer an have purchased almost every version of Xara's software for the last 10 years, and in all likelihood I'll probably buy this one as well.
But this kind of chiseling-of-the-trial-days behavior is really unacceptable.

If you only want to offer a 21 day trial then just say so !

Like I said in the other thread even if you are planning to go ahead and buy it anyway it is still a good idea to file a support ticket with Xara and give them as much info as you can. see here

I just started up the program again and lost an additional 3 days.

I have submitted a support ticket with all the information they asked for in the other thread.

Hopefully they will be able to sort this out before my trial period sprints to Zero !

Hi angelize.

I purchased the upgrade and so far no problems although I did upgrade through Toolfarm. I can't say enough about the company. I swear they bend time to respond to your questions regardless of the reason. They have without a doubt the best example of customer service I have ever come across. I'm an old dude. I was greatly impressed.
