Questions About Vectors

Can anyone using Paint shop pro v9 or vx1 please tell me how to save a vector object with it's path? I know how to make it a path...but can't seem to figure out how to save it...If I just save it as an example using .eps...it does not import into a vector program with the path. I am using vectors with a vinyl cutting machine...and need to know how to do this. thanks in advance

Hi Ronda, welcome to TalkGraphics.

Paint Shop Pro can create vectors internally however it cannot save them with the exception of saving to a proprietary preset shape file.

Soquili...thanks for the nice welcome! I get it...PSP can create vectors but can't save them. Thats what I wanted to know...thanks so much for the answer...! Is this for all versions or does any of the newer versions have the ability to save vectors? Thanks for your quick reply "R"

Ronda to my knowledge there are no versions of PSP that can save vectors to a format usable by true vector applications.
