    Default Pasting rich text format

Hi for everyone, could you please have a short look on this example, in Designer Pro 7 I would like to paste a text as rich text so keeping some formatting by other text editor.

On the first picture actually in my case the original text is in Word, the only applied effect that some parts of the text has coloured background.

If this is copied to the Designer Pro, it keeps the colours however slightly differently, also bringing them as named colours to the document. It is normal the Designer Pro is not text editor, for my targets the colours are okay like this.

But what is strange that why these colours disappear in the browser preview? Could you maybe reproduce the case?

Because the text high-light colour from Word isn't a rich text attribute that Xara can work with so it does it's best by rendering a character outline in that colour.
(Zoom in and you will see this)
Web browsers cannot render outlines on fonts, unless you convert the object to an image (group)

If you want to emulate a highlight, use the rectangle tool and put to back.
