Right click the program's desktop icon and select Run as administrator.

Carl which popup are you getting?

If it is the register popup I believe one of the options is I have already registered. If so please click on that option.

Bill, as explained before I did all the options on the pop up. I have uninstalled 2 times so far and it still gives me the register pop up.

Carl you will need to install using Administrator priviledges. To do that you must uninstall if it is still on your system and do a reboot.

When you have rebooted the system and insert the CD select view or browse rather than click on what ever shows up as Run.

Find the setup.exe and right click that file and select Run as administrator and allow it to run. If User Account Control (UAC) asks if you want the application to make changes to your system always answer yes.

After the installation is complete start the program by right clicking the desktop icon and selecting Run as administrator. You will only need to do this once.

Carl that is everthing I know to try. If it still does not work I suggest you open a support ticket with Xara. http://support.xara.com

I am still working on it at the present time. I cannot fine a exe. file. I have found a application file with the xara icon beside it, I am going to try that now.
