    Exclamation Forum missing images

Red X showing 'missing images' appearing on attachments and links. The examples here are from the The February 2012 Tutorial Discussion, Manage Attachments page, and Twitter link.
Is anyone else seeing this; perhaps, I'm missing a setting.

    No problem here Fred.

    Might be an aberration.

It happens with Chrome and Safari although they don't use a red X image simply another image.

FireFox and Opera will not indicate a missing image however the other browsers will substitute their own generic image.

Yes Steve, IE 9 (on Win 7 Pro 64). I haven't changed anything and it just started a few days ago. It doesn't happen on all attachments; I'll watch it to see if there's a pattern. Thanks for the responses, Gary, Bill & Steve. ...aberration...hmmm!

Hi Fred, it happens with any file that does not have an image associated with the file type. The forum upgrade obviously removed custom images assigned to added filetypes like .xar and .web. The vBulletin software supports standard graphic file types other wise all files would have the red x in IE.

Good detective work Bill! I should have guessed since there were missing images in the upload options. Thank you.
