    Default Re: Clueless---exporting .emf file

    Hi
My son, who is a teacher, says I could never be one because I can't simply explain how to do something and then let people go and do it, I always end up doing it for them. This is true. So here is the .xar file for the partially traced face. If you open it you'll see what I've done (quite quickly so it might not be absolutely perfect and I've made the line over thick for you to be able to see them easier). If you look at the 'page and layer' gallery you will see that there is a hidden layer which is the bitmap of the face that I traced, make the layer visible by clicking the closed red eye icon.
As you get more familiar with the tools there are a number of shortcuts but until then you can easily trace each component of the image, as Angelize explained, and it should fit together like a non too difficult jig saw. As long as each shape is closed you can fill it with the required colour. Once completed you can export as required. Hope it helps.
