Animation Frame Gallery not showing up

I can't get the animation frame gallery to show up - it doesn't appear when i make a new animation or open up an old one. I've tried restarting the program, my computer, everythin. And I can't seem to find it as a selectable menu anywhere in the program.

What gives?

Try Shift + F12.

Or you can select Frame Gallery from the bottom of the Utilities > Galleries menu.

Thanks for the cue on that - to make things more complicated, the frame gallery keeps making itself 1px wide, so the only way I was able to find it was to notice the difference in screen width while repeatedly hitting shift-F12.

Must be a VIsta thing...
