My method is almost the same as Gary's (although I think you missed a step Gary, you need to remove the round corners on the clone) except instead of chopping off the corner of the clone I simply pull in the side or the bottom or the top to expose the rounded corners I want to keep.

Well, it's good of you to create a video, but it's hardly the most complex of graphical manipulations (which is, I think, Gary's point)) and let's face it, you make it quite clear in your video that your efforts are for the benefit of xara user members, something I think you inserted quite deliberately and which was, frankly, unnecessary.

No need to get defensive there, Big Frank. I understood Gary's point perfectly. My comment was an attempt at humour (hence the smiley) which obviously (or at least in your case) didn't come across very well.

I did and still do make all of my xara related videos for posting at xara users. However, that doesn't mean that the membership of TalkGraphics can't benefit from the tutorials as well. Of course I deliberately inserted the plug of Xara-Users, I had to type it into the title in the first place. Your comment about the XU plug being unnecessary is strictly your opinion. What is the harm of a 5 second plug at the beginning of my videos that supports a thriving forum that exists solely to support other users of the Xara products that we all love to use? Well of course the answer is, 'There is none'.

Eric - My point was simply that not everything needs a video. I and a lot of the new members do appreciate and learn better from a video and you do a splendid job. But rectangles with one or opposing rounded corners has been covered numerous times in this forum.
