    Hi All,
Can someone please tell me the best way to search this forum and/or the XaraXone for pre-existing tutorials? Specifically, I am looking for a way to dip text in chocolate?
    Thanks,
    Maggie

    Hi Maggie,

I find the best way to search is to use the Advanced search, seems to work better than the default. Just click the Find tab at the top of the discussions and select Advanced search. Enter your key word or words and select the forum to search.

    Hi Maggie,
Here's how I would attempt it. It works best on rounded text.

That's not true at all. I use XaraX a lot for use with Flash and because I need to keep file size down I rarely use the Bevel tool (which creates Bitmaps, as does the Shadow tool), so often revert to the Contour tool (a much underused tool).
It was you're original post that triggered my method, so you were instrumental in a process that I hope is quick & efficient.

    Mike,

Do not feel ashamed of your artistic capability or your skill with xara. Everyone here comes up with a novel approach to doing a task, that even makes Gary sit up and take notice. True, it is not often, but it does happen.

Occationally, even the masters have a brain fart and run into a problem. Then we get a chance to reteach the masters an old trick.

So, Keep helping. If not the masters, you help one of us illiterate, untallented slobs.
