picture format

Hi does anyone know how to change the format of the picture? When im saving the photo and sending it to my phone i cant open it up it says its the incorrect format? does anyone know how to change this?

Once you've created your image and sized it to be the size you want:
Click on the 'File' menu, then click on 'Export...'
Then open up the dropdown menu where is says 'Save as type:'
Choose the type you want to export as.

Of course it depends upon what types of images you phone can open?
But, I would have thought that 'jpg' should be no problem.

thanks for your response thats worked fine. Also another quick question if you can hep with is. If i've got a photo with a background picture and i want to make the background bigger but leave the front of the photo the same size how would i do this?

Hi Jodie,

Look in the help guide under 'content-aware photo resize'. If that doesn't explain things enough for you then post back here and I or someone else will help you out.
