Thread: Email Template

  1. #1

    Default Email Template

I have an old program I used to use to design custom emails for clients (and myself)
Unfortunately it will not work with my new windows 7.
I was wondering if there is a way to import HTML file into WD7 and customize it or make one from scratch and publish it flat to use in Outlook.
The program used to host the graphics on its own server so it would load at the time of viewing. I guess one could link the graphic and just store it remotely on any server....

    any Ideas ??

There is no HTML import filter in WD7 but the graphics can be imported as a whole [CTRL+ALT+W]
publish it flat to use in Outlook
If you mean as a flat single image, yes that would work.

Does Windows 7 not have some kind of compatibility or legacy mode ?

Hey ..it was the graphic that was bothering me.
The program publishes the html flat..and loads the graphic up on a server
then as the email is sent, it calls for the graphic when its opened making it faster to send
Anyway I redesigned an old one in Dreamweaver.. it is working ok now...
I ran the old program with all of the compatibility modes ..it is to do with the DHTML Editor that was removed from windows pre vista

    Thx
