    Default Shield

    Hello everyone,

    My Father has been trying to get me to create in Xara and now I finally have!

    This is my first ever attempt at creating a picture in the Xara application.

    I followed this tutorial below:

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

    Looks very excellent. Especially for your first image.

    The highlight will work better if you flip it and put it over the darker side.

    Gwpriester - if I attach the original file when I get home would you be able to show me how you would do the reflection?

    It's really a matter of logic, Navin. If the light source is coming from the left then the highlight seems like it wants to be on the left.

    Hi Gary.

    When I did the tutorial I thought the light source was coming from the right. But as per your suggestion I have moved the highlight effect to the left side of the shield. Do you think this looks better?
