Old VW Beetle Cartoon

Part of my job is to make up maps illustrating the mileage to NHS patient who are travelling to see a specialist doctors from all over the Scottish Highlands. This drawing is my interpretation of an old Beetle used in one of the maps which was hand sketch and imported into xara. Please free to crit as I wanted to keep it simple.

3 ellipses, 2 circles and 3 or 4 rectangles is about as simple as it can get and still be a perfectly recognisable car. Charming and perfectly suited for the job you drew it for I would think.

For its simplicity, it's BRILLIANT.

What I would change is the part where you've drawn the... Just kidding.

The front made me think of the Messerschmitt three wheeler.

It's a nice simple design. I would probably like it more with the windshield extended to the edge, though then it might make me think of a Porsche!

A great design is simple. This is a very nice and simple design. I seriously love the look!

Ironic, my current paint design is for a VW Beetle. = )

Thanks all for the really nice comments. When I was 13 -14 my neighbour drove me to school every morning in your Messerschmitt most of my friends thought it was weird (cool), I just thought it was so noisy and on a winters morning it was un-controllable in the frost and it steamed up.

Nice representation of the VW Beetle.. Love the simple design..

Sometimes it si better to be simple to make it more appealing..
