Ancient pottery in Blender and Xara

Well I think it came out kind of looking old! Done in Blender using Cycles and Xara DPX I used xara to draw the curve and I spun it and tweaked the mesh a bit in Blender.
I used Gary Bouton's clumpy noise tile from the Seamless tile thread in the Xara Xone forum to create the material. I recoloured parts of the tile with the colour select/erase and hue shift tools adjusted brightness contrast and saturation and then used it in blender to create the material.
