    Default Flash won't play

I have created a brief flash video/slide show (.swf) - attached, I think. I have placed it in a placeholder. When I preview, I get a brief buffering bar, then a message appears in the lower right of the placeholder which is "Buffering 100%". That's all it will do. The .swf plays fine when I run it in a media player. I have tried the preview it in IE and FF. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
    thank you-

That's because that is all it seems to do...

So you can't get it to play either?

30.2 KB isn't big enough to be a slide show, your front page SS3.swf is probably just the loader for the slideshow files.
Describe the software and process you used to create the slideshow.

yes, I guess you are right. I'm using SW called ProShow Gold. It's slideshow software and it has flash output specified. I looked over that process again and can't see where I duffed it.....

And every time I create the swf, it also creates a flv, which is usualy around 19MB.

Perhaps Frobee might suit you. It's free and creates one single self-contained flash slideshow ideal for embedding into a xara web design project.

The swf reads the flv. The flv is the video, the swf, the player. The swf on it's own is useless. Maybe you just need to put the flv in the same directory as the swf?
