http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif You guys are so funny! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Thanks too, Anton http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif -- the tidal pool was down at the Otago Harbor (Dunedin, NZ)...the creatures are native to those waters and there is a marine laboratory and aquarium there. There are large outdoor holding pools with sea water circulated from the area and all sorts of fishes, etc. There's indoor displays and huge tanks also. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Here's a pic of the Otago Harbor area...there's an albatross colony down at one end also...they even have yellow eyed penguins.

Okay here's another of the Otago penninsula, NZ taken with the help of a friend I met there, Heather Wilson http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif...
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...eatherw_sm.jpg
...and here's one of the fishes on display at the lab, a moki...
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...iumfish_md.jpg
...they also have the most beautiful abalone species, the paua, found only in NZ, here's a shell found on the beach....
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...abalone_sm.jpg
...and at Moeraki beach there's these amazing huge round boulders..concretions of mud fallen right out of the hillsides and found scattered around the beach...I've got some closeups of the boulders I'll post after I reduce the pics in file size...
