Web designer Pro 7 - Error

Hi there

I am updating a customers website now and have added a couple of items to a page and I now receive a pop up error - OUT OF MEMORY.

I have optimised the photos and saved/closed/restarted but still not removing the error - appreciate if anyone has any other fixes for this error I could try.

I had the same problem that happen to me, it gave me that error and some pages appear just codes. And somebody reply and told me about this tip that would really help.

HI There - Thanks for that work around.

The problem is - the file size is not large only 568kb and it only seems to be giving the out of memory error on one page !!! All the other pages are OK and do not produce the error.

Anyone else out there experienced this before ?

HI Steve,

I added a logo and a line then I started to receive the Error.
The native file size is only 568k and I have completed much bigger sites with 10mb file size.

I have copied the file and then deleted the page and it works perfectly now.....but its missing a page. I have copied it back in to see if that would work but NO still same error.

At a bit of a loss on this one !??

HI Steve,

I managed to get a fix for it.
Made a copy of the original .WEB file
I deleted the page from the original file then added a new page then cut and pasted over all the elements to the new page and it is working fine.
I have also added more elements and text without the error

Strange one - never seen this before on this software !

I was going to suggest doing that (Cut and Paste Page onto a new page).

Sometimes WD gets a wild hare up somewhere and these things start happening. I often just close the whole application clicking the red X close button and then restart the program.

Hi Craig

I get that error every day...all day everyday in fact..and I just click the little button that says 'send report', it acknowledges the report has gone, and then about 3 minutes later I get it again. Anyway, I just keep clicking the box (and cussing) and keep working. I can get this message even when I have only just started a site and have only 2 pages. Sometimes when it bothers me just a wee bit too much, I close down the programme, have a cup of tea and a bikky, and when I fire it up again it has miraculously disappeared. Seems to be a bothersome glitch with no apparent reason.
