Pasteboard background does not publish

I have DP7 version 7.1.2.18680 CD version Oct 7, 2011. I'm using 64- bit win 7 Home Premium.

The pasteboard background will no longer publish on all of my web pages. It used to. In DP7 I can see the background and can hide it or not; all seems normal. It does not show up when I do the single-page preview either. My pasteboard background is a maroon color with a crinkle texture. FYI my website is http://kingstoncc.org/index.htm.

I make regular changes to my website and this seems to have recently happened. I've made no system changes that I can think of.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Peter

It is maroon but not crinkly. Have you exported it? Kind of thing I'd forget ;-)

Yes I exported before uploading. There are smooth maroon areas on the web page and the page background is gray. But the crinkly pasteboard background is not showing up. It is much larger than the web page is so it is supposed to serve as a border around the web page. Right now the pasteboard background is gray like the web page.

Looking at the source I see:

<body style="background-color: #544446">
...for all pages - except the contact page has no bg colour defined

You also appear to have uploaded the site at some point actually into the index_htm_files folder.

I see no 'crinkley' bg anywhere, it's not even listed in the inspector in chrome.

You might have it on the wrong layer maybe, but there has been some seriously confusing publishing with index files appearing in the index_htm_files folder so my advice would be to delete the lot on the server and publish again

I have done some uploads using Filezilla so I may have "shot myself in the foot".
I will try as you suggest by removing everything from the server and do uploads the Xara way.
Will post here when complete.

I put all the files on the server in a temp folder...just in case.
I set the option in the DP7 to upload all files. I see all new files on the server with Filezilla.
I have the same problem with no crinkly maroon background although it shows in DP7.

It's 1am here in NH. Time for a brief sleep and then I'll look at it again later.
It would help if you could look at the source again and see if the upload mess is now straightened out. I have no expertise in that area.

John, Thanks for your help.
You were right when you said I had my index file all messed up from doing direct uploads. Clearing the server files and reloading was a big help.
SLedger saw my problem and steered me to XU. I got my answer there. I implemented the pasteboard totally wrong. He got me straightened out.
