    Default Vector Fill

Using a graphic from a tutorial on distressed effects in Illustrator, I made this marble fill (vector) using XDP7's bitmap tracer (default settings). The original bitmap was a baking tray, obviously well-used (attached). A bit of glossiness achieved with a linear transparency helped to make this marble text effect look quite realistic (the trace was clipped inside the text). Very handy if you are going to design an all-vector logo.

That looks really good Bob, That's one pretty beat up baking tray, but it makes a great texture!

    Thanks, Rik

Just wanted to show that it was a very usable graphic... for scratch marks, specularity maps, many things.

    Glad you liked it!
