    Thankyou to everyone for your help.After reading all the replies and associated links and tutorials,im going to give the gold text a go over the weekend.I know this may sound lame to you folks,but i have to keep looking-up the meaning of terms given to me in replies here,as i have never previously used any graphics programs.For example,before i looked-up the meaning,i didn;t know what was meant by blending,feathering,linear fading/repeating,ect.Therefore,a set of step-by-step instuctions is very intimidating to me,as im not familiar with the terms used.

    Xara forums are like no other forums josh - Xara people always reply promptly - you keep asking and people keep replying - eventually you get damn good at it and you start replying to questions
