Hello, ghost face, welcome to the forum.
Xara3d7 does not allow the use of an animated gif for either a background or as a texture on an object. At best it would take the first frame only, and not animate it. What is the effect you are trying to achieve? Often there is another way to achieve the same outcome.

The background can be animated but you will require a gif animation program and a drawing program.

The XARA 3D animation, logo, text, or whatever can be inserted into the animated gif and then you can apply further FX if desired.

Make the background with your drawing software, animate it with your GIF animator, then paste the XARA 3D image (transparent background) into the background animation, then you can add FX if your software has the capability to do so.

    Good luck!
