I've seen that rainbow moss a few times. But, I don't drink that much, anymore.

Beautifully drawn, though, you'll have to tell us all, what made you think of this?

I had done clipart some time ago using BMT. The moss appeared to be a good canidate. It was the only piece of moss I found in five inches or Redwood leaves.

That's pretty moss, it reminds me of a rainbo pop. At least the thumnail does.

I like the original photo the best. The moss has a lovely texture and if you have a high res photo you could make a lovely seamless texture with it.

    Frances,

I scanned it at 300 DPI and too large to post. However, maybe a piece will do. The moss in the mask form, also.

Hi rich, a piece of it worked great. I brought it into Designer pro and used the magic eraser remove the brown areas that would obviously repeat then cloned and flipped it and applied a linear transparency to even it out a bit. Then I took it into another program called Seamless Factory by Paurex. In seamless Factory I generated the following 3 seamless textures. the first one is the image from DP7 with the X and Y axial Distribution set to blend the edges, for the second one I ran it through SF's synthesize filter a few times until I liked what I saw, and the third one I did with SF's kaleidoscope feature.

Way to go Rich and Frances! Frances #2 would be a great one to add to my collection of textures.
