All my brushes seem to be black

HI

I added Christmas lights as a brush to Xara Photo and Graphic Designer Pro.

However when I select the holiday lights as my line and draw them, my lights are all black, instead of the multicolored lights in the brushes that I see in the brush dropdown.

I'm noticing this with any other colored line I select from the brushes.

Obviously I'm somehow "overwriting" the color of the brush with a default "black".

Any suggestions -- I'm sure it's a simple mistake I am making.

I'm not really sure why you are having the problem but for the Christmas lights brush see brush settings below,click the randomize button and save. That will give you random light colors.

Thanks for showing me that property box.

By changing the "Local colors replace" radio button to "no brush colors", the line used the colors of the brush I selected.
