    Default Mushrooms

Just something I've been working on. I'm still not quite happy with the mushroom caps, I think they need more shading around the gills. But for now this is my mushrooms.

Frances: Don't mess with the caps too much. It's the bottom of the stems that needs a bit of work, in my opinion.
I don't think you can just fade them out at the bottom. Maybe bring the leaf to the front of the stems?!

But, may I be the first to say that this is one of your BEST work I have seen.

Very well done, Frances. I like the way you've blurred the background.

Very well done Frances. Personally, I like the whole thing. From what I can see, according to the light source that you are using, the shadowing looks good. As far as the base of the mushroom, I like the effect of the out of focus vegetation in front of the mushroom. I too like the way that you did the background. I am very impressed with how you did the leaves. Again, very well done Frances.

Personally I like it. Well done Frances! Rik raises a good point but, I can't tell if the bottom is faded or just a different color. Anyhow

Thank you Rik, Bob, Gray, Paul, and Larry

I'll have a look at the bottom of the stems and see what I can do. All these nice comments inspire me to keep creating.

I made a few small changes, the bottom of the stems looks much better now. Thanks Rik!

Nice Frances. They have a soft look which is not easy to achieve.
