Website on home computer

Is there a way to set up a Website on the computer so you can work out the bugs. I'm just getting started with DP Pro 7 building a Website.

Yes. Export the site to a folder on your hard drive. Look at the file menu...

Although you can FTP straight from Xara, I would normally export the site to a local folder. Then check it and only then ftp it to the live site.
