Hi,
I need to modify a button on a site whose graphic designer is no longer available. He used a mouseover button feature that I'm not sure how to duplicate. Anyone have any suggestions for the text in the left image?
Thanks!

That appears to be a white glow. Select the object, click the shadow tool button, click the glow (shadow) button - this will give it a RED glow by default, adjust the glow's size / transparency / blur, then use the Layer gallery to select this shadow and click white on the colour line. Easy!
Just my opinion, but, I don't think it's a good idea to do that, because the text is becoming harder to read.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
The method of Glow Shadow seems to work not too bad, actually.
If the correct amount is applied. All a matter of taste, of course.

To change the colour of the glow shadow all you have to do is drag the new colour, in this case white, from the colourline and drop it on the shadow.
