Default My Nikon + Xara Designer Pro 7 = fun!

We had a few mins spare time today while waiting to pick up our daughter and we happened to have the camera with us so when I spotted this gated narrow alleyway between two buildings I thought I'd take a photo. When I got home and loaded it onto the computer I thought that I'd have a little fun and see what I could do with it in Xara.

I added a touch of contrast and sharpening then slightly saturated the colours. Then I cloned the photo and gave the clone a slight blue green tint using the brightness and levels dialogue blurred it. I gave the clone a stained glass transparency and then used a feathered ellipse as an opacity mask to create a vignette which I softened even more by adding a circular transparency to the ellipse. I centered the vignette on the alleyway to draw (I hope) the viewers attention down the alley way.

Frances, you don't fool us. You were out tagging and got busted by the cops. The alibi isn't going to work..
