7.1.2.18680 update for all four Designer 7 programs

We’ve released an update, which includes various program fixes, for all four Designer 7 programs. This brings them all up to the same version 7.1.2.18680.

Xara Designer Pro 7
Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 7
Xara Web Designer Premium 7
Xara Web Designer 7

To update your installation, use the "Update program" facility in the program Help menu. You need to have unlocked AND registered your program for this option to work. If you haven’t, when you invoke the update option you’ll be shown the unlock/register dialog again. Make sure you register using the same email address that you used to purchase the program, because each serial number can only be registered to one email address.

Downloaded and installed the updates for all four versions in less than 20 minutes.

Can you highlight some of the updates, fixes, etc.?

I'm getting just a download update window with no progress even after several minutes - I have a 30mbs connection. anyone else having issues?

Great, thanks, just updated.

One annoying bug is still present though...
To reproduce: Make some text repeat on all pages, highlight a word in it and make it a link = The whole text becomes linked not just the word

Thanks Xtom, a bug has been added. We fixed a similar issue which occured when you

create a text object (line/column/area) and apply a link to only part of it.
Select this to repeat on all pages

So it seems the problem still occurs when the text object is repeated prior to applying the link.

Yeah, also if there's more than one link in the repeated text and you try to remove just one it removes all other links in the repeated text aswell. It's probably all related. Thanks for adding the bug.

Group transparency with live copies appears to be working ok now.
Also opened PSD seems to be saving to xar without rasterizing.

Thank you for making such a robust and fast software, I enjoy using it every day.
