    Thank you Larry and Rik for your more than kind comments. Your right Rik, the avatar is a skin I made for the combat flight simulator, IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, I thought I would do the aircraft in Xara, using the screen shot as a model.

    Nice work on the planes. I'm not so sure on the close proximity to the snow - doesn't quite work for me.

    You get better and better Merv.

    For the same of adding more drama, I would make the plane going down in flames smaller and make the other plane larger and more heroic.

    I made the changes you suggested Gary, I added a picture frame, probably should not have done that. Any tips or suggestions on how to make the drawings better please let me know. Cheers

    This is much better Merv, don't you agree. More dramatic. Also, the smaller plane being farther away now would have less contrast. As objects get farther away they become lighter and less saturated.
