Clever Rik, is it the last line too?

A frog was my first thought, but since that was already taken... a jar.

I don't mean to ignore you julia but I am having a hard time finding the original line anywhere in your jar image, I'm not saying it isn't there it's just that I can't see it. Nicely done though.

You're right Wizard, the original line isn't there. I realised that when the scribble was done, corrected the top in a copy but wasn't happy with the adjustments I'd made to upper part of the jar to accomodate the new top and wandered away from the pc. When I came back promtly uploaded the first image - duh. This one has the line.

Cool scribbles here and clever ideas.

I guess it will be three for lunch then because a nose is what I saw first.

Then it became a profile silhouette of a Roman Centurion (as can sometimes happen Name: confused.gif

Then of course Romans were more into stone than cutting up bits of paper so I ended up with this ...

Nicely done Su, looks like slate. Don''t you just love to see what evolves from a single line?

    Thanks Larry and Rik.

Yeah I was just going to do a generic stone type effect I think, but it started looking a bit like a rough slate to me too ... so I kind of veered that way.

It is cool to see all the different interpretations of a single line.

    Regards
