Here's an animated one...
James
Excellent job Frances
James I don't know what that is but it sure is cool! Would make a neet automobile hubcap.
You both are doing great things with Blender and are a real inspiration to me.

Thanks, Larry!
I thought Frances' image/object looked like something someone loading buckshot might have at their side in order to drop the pellets in...of course, hers is the designer version. It always amazes me that a computer (and software, of course) can make objects that look so much like they actually "exist" in a 3D world.
Re: What I made
Yeah, I don't know what it is. I took your shape and brought it into Blender and that led me to those 16 metal brackets that have (on the inside) your Scribble. Since they made a nice "holder" for something circular, I decided to drop a mirrored torus in there. That was the original that I posted above. While looking at it, it seemed to want to be animated, so I then made that shape in the center that looks kind of like it has little metal spines going to each of the brackets and then with some mylar/metallic "skin" stretched over it. Once that was done, it seemed like something was missing. Your logo became "that thing".
Glad you liked it.
When I get a chance, I'm gonna try Frances' 3D challenge that she posted. Great idea...
In whatever medium we are working in, we all, always have the potential to be inspiring. (we might not even know/notice it)
Peace
James

Yes James, I am working on Franceses challenge also. Doing it in Xara flash though since it is the only thing I know at the moment.
