Designer Pro vs. Corel Draw

I need to know if Corell Draw can be compared to Designer PRO or this is not compatible as I need to print files (material) within large format printers.

Interesting question, we have both and have been using CDR for over 15 years. The programs are different in many ways with Xara much more suited to Websites and yet the more I use the better it becomes. I would have thought it to be ideal for large format poster work and until this morning had found Xara to be much more stable and far better at handling text - I now have question regards stability but that may well end up being finger trouble.
