    Default Flutist

I drew this with an analog pencil and analog dry markers 35 years ago, and then used Xara and Photoshop on the six pieces I scanned to remove the seams and do a little restoration work. I depended on my memory to restore the fading of the colors. Hopefully, this still looks natural and done in the Real World, a place I occasionally visit.

    Thank you, Graham.

    I'm all over the place, aren't I?

    Where was I?

    Default Garden wall and cottage

This piece began as a model in The Foundry's program modo, as a tutorial image I was commissioned to create to advertise a seamless texture-making software. Not at all a convincing render, I used Filter Forge's Watercolor filter on it, and I'm a lot happier with the image as it is now.

It looks like a painting hung in one of America's finest motels.

Bolted to the wall and everything...

I like the effect you achieved with that one, Gary. Gives it a very painterly look.

I wish I could say that the effect was achieved entirely by hand, Graham, but thank you! Filter Factory, IMO, is the next generation of filters.

Um, I didn't know of an easy way to model this, so all the plastic spikes were hand-placed.

    Default Bake Sale

I have done so many personalized birthday cards (many of them a cupcake with a candle impaling it), that I thought I'd serve this one up to anyone reading this, on the house. Copy it and use it in Good Health, seriously!

I used The Foundry's modo for both the sculpting and the render. Just a little tone correction using Photoshop.

    My Best,

    Gary

    Default Classics

I did this for my nephew, who bought his first Les Paul right after graduation.
