Yeah, and here's one of the variations: a turkey/duck.

    Gobble. gobble quack.

I'm not even going to say what that looks like thumbnail size. Looks better larger where I can what it really is though.

    Default Strange Worlds

I was playing recently with Vue and another modeling program, and thought this was interesting wallpaper for the desktop.

So much so, that I thought I'd give it away, attached. It's about 2K pixels across, PNG.

Excellent thought provoking image. The pencil and brush should try and resolve their differences.

    My Best,

Way cool Gare! Not that I can do it but just wondering what program/s you used to create this?

I used modo 501, a modeling/rendering application made by The Forge/Luxology, and the precisely dented spheres are a product of displacing the spheres in 3D with a checkerboard, very much like displacing images with other images in Xara, with the extra dimension.

Then I did some creative (?) filtering to the rendered image.

    Default Homage to Magritte

I wonder how classical art and expressionism would have changed if The Masters had graphics software...

The background is a rendered scene from Vue, and the foreground character is a 2" tall rubber toy I photographed and very carefully blurred in the right places and tried to get the light surces and camera angles lined up.

    I think it works.

    My Best,

    Gary
