    Default Lace Cap Hydrangea

I've been working on this for a couple of days between other stuff. I have a beautiful bush of these in my back yard, the thing has taken much abuse from having a tree fall on it to weed whacker attacks from my well meaning husband but nothing stops it!

Very special,Frances. The depth of field effects works nicely, too.

Lovely image Frances and great depth of field, looks like it's thriving on that weed whacker!

Thanks everyone The depth of field effect was actually very easy to do and other than the use of the enhance live effect to get the blur it is all vector.

Very nice drawing, Frances. We have a white one where nothing else will grow, they do seem to be quite tough.......

Thank you Penny, I'll bet that white lace cap is quite beautiful. One Other thing I love about the hydrangea is that it is one of the few things in the garden that the local deer won't eat!
