Animation: Rotation pivot problem

I want to rotate an object around a freely defined pivot, e.g. a rectangle. I want it to rotate around a corner, so I draw a rectangle in frame 1, name it, and copy the frame. In frame 2, I move the center of rotation to the desired corner and rotate the rectangle by a certain angle. Xara creates the inbetweens, but when playing the animation, the pivot wanders around. Is there a way to lock the pivot?

I have attached two files from Designer Pro 7 and then saved to Xtreme 5 so the cropping is not correct but it should help.

In the file called Rotate.xar there is mention of the command "rotate". This is a name that has been applied to the pendulum. Select the pendulum image then click the yellow tag (Names) icon on the Infobar to see the command text.
