Default Recently Link to a Video of Open Shape with a Fill

There was Recently post a Link to a Video showing a Open shape with a Fill...

Would someone push me to the Video again? I have an Open shape that I want to have a Fill
(need to watch the Video again)

Then depending, I may need further Help -I am changing a piece (an arm position) of PathTag design and I want a Fill so I can see if I am making any head way (I will post it too -I may need some help from those better at Drawing then Technical Me) Thanks

Anyway, I remember watching the Video -to try to learn how-to do... (guess I need to repeat)

Unfortunately if taking a design to PDF that uses this "feature" the line will end up a closed path. Export as a PNG or JPG works to keep it an open path.

And, at least on my system, if one zooms in the path is actually closed. So for close-up detail work on nodes, one may not see where the path is "open."

Better to create a shape with a fill and no line, then clone the shape (Ctrl-K), and give the clone a line but no fill, then break one of the nodes and delete the unwanted remainder of the line. This way it'll export properly everywhere.

Better to simply add the ability <g>.

Heck, Even Microsoft Expression Design can have unclosed shapes with fill that export properly. (But I'll leave its shortcomings aside...XDP is a far, far better application.)

    But Ben's work-flow is what I use.

    Take care, Mike
