Default How to make multiple layers invisible

After using the Bitmap Tracer on a fairly simple graphic I now have squazillions of layers. Trying to work out what is where and which layer I want to adjust is a bit of a problem.
I have been clicking on eyes for what seems hours but there is no end to it.
I tried to find out if there is a simple method to close all the layers at once, but the Help Files haven't come up with the solution.
This might well be user error, which wouldn't be a first..
I must be doing something very wrong but as I don't know what, I can't fix it.
I searched the forum without success.

    Thanks anyone who can help

They are only on layers as pertains to the order in which those squazillions (love that description) of shapes were created. All of the traced shapes are on the same layer.

You can group everything and then you will have one group that you can move, resize, etc. Un-grouped you can Shift click-select multiple shapes and group them or combine them such as Combine Shapes Add Shapes.

Hi Grenou, you can also "swipe" (click and drag) over multiple eyes icons to turn off/on several layers quickly.
